Erin Coquese R. Vaughn currently serves as the Interim Executive Director for Housing and Residence Life at Jackson State University. At JSU she formerly served as the Associate Director for Living Learning Communities and Residence Education. Erin has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Education and Spanish from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration and Personnel Services from the University of Central Arkansas and received her PhD from Louisiana State University and A and M College in Baton Rouge, LA. Erin’s research interest is burnout and wellness strategies in student affairs.
Housing and Residence Life plays a pivotal role in the collegiate experience, and Erin is committed to developing a safe welcoming environment conducive to growth, development, and engagement for all students that live on campus.
In her spare time, Erin enjoys spending time with her family, playing the piano and bowling.
